Spread pulls links to render a preview when people share a URL. We fetch URLs when users post them. We collect minimal information to show the preview, not the full content of the page.

How to identify it

Requests use the User-Agent “Spread” and are signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures). Our public key directory is published at https://joinspread.com/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.
